I own a 996 GT2...way overpriced initially. But what if the base MSRP was reasonable...say $133,000..Who would bite?

If we're lucky, and it is...then I'm all in...

I don't think it will be 200k...I suspect something closer to 150k base with easy options to 175k and over

I think the pricing of the new GT3 is a good indicator of what we will see for the GT2. I am willing to bet the base price is easily in the high 100s.

I agree. Will be in the high 100's.I am trying to decide to order the GT2 or know of an available GT3RS black with orange accents however car will cost me 175-180. Any feedback? Am I overpaying for the RS and will the GT2 be the better buy?

MSRP will be between $175-180k. I dont think it will be any lower, and for sure not in the $130's.

im guessing at least 190K base. not a chance in hell its going to be less expensive than a 996 GT2. think about it, GT3RS' are going for like $150K, and the GT2 is the king of the 911's, no way its gonna ring up at the price of a GT3RS.

probably not...996GT2 sales were pretty dismal in the US...and enough people crashed those...they couldn't handle a GT2 RS.

While we're playing the what if game....

What if they made a Carrera GT RS at $150,000 all options included!

Would anyone buy one? I would.....

And it comes with a free Unicorn.....

Fantasy...
