Question re: 996 GT3 seat positioning

I'm looking at an '04 GT3. I'd be keeping the OEM sport seats for the time being ... I'm about 6'4" ... is it possible to move the seats back a bit on the sliders to get a little more leg room?

Thanks in advance to anyone with input.

Scott

You should be fine at 6'4" with the seat all of the way back without modifications.

I'm 6'6" and I fit just fine in my GT3 with the stock seats. If you go to the Euro GT3 seats Brey Krause makes a set of seat mounts that lower/recline as well as add leg room. These mounts make all the difference in the world. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input guys ... I could surely drive the car ... it was just a bit difficult to get my legs under the steering wheel ... was just hoping for a couple more inches ... kinda like my wife.

You might want to consider an RS console delete for more leg room. I used to always hit my right leg on the console during track days or just driving around town. Once I got this, it definately made more room.
