It was great seeing two new white 997 GT3's in the wild this weekend at a DE event.

The temps were in the 20's and there was on and off snow!

Ahhh, i think that is our very own Stuart997GT3 from 6speed, he was saying he was going to Pocono's last Sunday, and myself the following week which will be next Friday, hope he had fun

 

There were two GT3 there, #64 and #308.

#64 had a cage and sport buckets seats. I'm ashamed to say I don't remember if Stuart had the GT3 seats...

 

Stuart didnt have a rollbar or GT3 seats, just stock sport adaptive

 

hi guys,2nd picture above is me with clear side markers,and thanks peter for the great pic's.the #94 was allen an instructor with nnjr pca.very cool he had the 996 gt3 seats with a safty devices roll bar w/ harness.very fast smooth driver he took me for a 1/2 hour blast to show me what this car can do wow he was pushing 140 on this small part of the nascar track into turn #1 into the infield of the north course.and he's just finishing break in.i'm driving car #308 in thease pic's.i was coming off turn #1 at around 110 mph so you know allen was flying.very cold and on and off snow all weekend but it didn't effect track conditions,execpt tire's not warming almost needed snow tires

Stu send me a link for the E46 meet, i will most def. make it down there so we can chat, next weekend will be Pocono's North track, Limerock will be next month.. I have to say with this cold weather and what im hearing about Pocono's, ALSO i might not have my wheels and r comp's, im getting a little worried

But its just for fun, i'll take it easy, im sure i'll see you soon !!

Are you running with the BMW club? I'll be there also on Friday, Pocono North. I haven't heard from Emil, but he is also signed up with his GT3. We have quite a few Porsches running from the Long Island region. Should be fun as long as the weather holds out.

 

Yes sir i am, and part of the reason why i signed up , because i saw many other Porsche guys going!!
