Sorry to see that happen. Hope that all that was bruised was the car and the driver's ego.

Seeing a crashed RS hurts (heck, any exotic car), but hopefully the driver (and passenger?) was okay.

That is just so sad. **** happens at the track. I put my RS into the wall at Lime Rock and I know how that driver must feel. I lucked out because the damage was very light and the car was looking spanking new less than two weeks later. No sheet metal damage, just a rim, rear control arm, and a rear bumper cover repaint. Of course getting rear ended by a bubble headed teenage girl on the way to the dealer to get it aligned sucked. Need another bumper cover now

It's true. Bob K and I had he all back together in less that 2 hours the second Friday after it happened. This included putting all of the underbody pans back on, removed buckets of dirt from there. We did a driveway rear wheel alignment with an 8' aluminun level and a carpenters framing square, got it damn close too. Had an appointment with the dealer for the final alignment and as I slowed for the construction zone at the end of the on ramp.....BAMM! WTF! WTF WTF! and I threw my hands up. Things happen in threes so I am still waiting for the last bang to happen. Still, you have to look real close to see the crack she put in it.
I really wanted to bring the RS back to Lime Rock the 20th, but I took the turbo instead. Maybe the RS needs a karma alignment.
