Well everyone, I am now back home and one very very happy fella!
I put about 500 miles on it but due to break in never went over 6K rpms.
Here are my initial impressions thus far
- Gets a lot of attention on roads/highways (definetly a neck turner)
- Once you hit 4300 rpms, the exhaust note is intoxicating!
- Steering is much more responsive/engaging then the TT
- Brakes outstanding
- Ride is rougher then the TT for sure but not bad at all! (I was happily surprised)
- Car does not compare at all to my TT in regards to Torque. Unless you're in the right gear at high rpms the car simply does not go like the TT. Granted I am used to 610 and soon 690HP.
- Not as quite for sure at the TT at idle. It does vibrate but I like it.
- The clutch is very very different from the TT. The TT is easier to engage and less catchy then the GT3RS.
So these are my initial impressions and I hope to drive both back to back shortly to see which one I really like. I want to be convinced to keep both.
It could be the whole excitement of a new toy or something but right now the GT3RS would be my choice if I were to keep one.
Here are pics from today.
