I live about 30 minutes from the dragon and you're right, one of the best roads I've ever driven. Give me a shout if you're ever back over this way and we'll hook up for a run.

LA to Illinois then to TN/NC for the Dragon, on to Birmingham for PDE (mostly US highways 90%) and return to LA.
The GT3 is a great car on the road and comfortable for long hauls, longest stint 818 mi.
Did "Tail of the Dragon" as well as Cherohala Skyway. WOW, great roads and beautiful country.
No oil consumption for the trip.
Reasonable fuel economy of 24.7 overall.
Attended another PDE Masters, Barber Motorsports is a great track to drive.

Do not be afraid to drive your GT3

awesome road trip. What state was it that only has 90 octane premium? Also, I guess getting the Navigation was a good idea for you lol Thanks for the story and pix and congratulations on truly enjoying and driving your car.
