I think Steve needs to educate buyers (on 6speedonline) on the First basic law of business. Its called Supply and Demand. There is a great demand for these cars and not very many to go around. Why are people taking car prices so personal? If you can afford it, BUY IT, and if you can't, DON'T. As for how much over MSRP, I would like to buy an Enzo today if anyone has one for $100K over MSRP. Let me know.

I completely agree with the principle that Manhattan Motors should sell the car for WHATEVER the market will bear...to do so otherwise would be stupid business practice.
HOWEVER, if the car was promised to a customer who put down a paid deposit at an agreed upon price before the dealer knew the market would be so strong AND it's being yanked from the deposit paying customer (Rich possibly) so that MM can make extra money on a single car...well, then that seems unfair, shortsighted, and poor business practice, IMHO.
Again, I'm making no judgements since the details are not know...but, it's hard not to be cynical about car dealerships at times...

For this money, i rather have a 360CS, but the RS is one hell of a car!

Well, as a former 997 GT3 RS owner, there is no way I would pay 200K for the car. I'm sorry to be negative, but realistically, the car will not hold its value such that a 200K price tag is acceptable or justifiable...just my .02. For that money, F430 without question. The car is fantastic for the track but 90% of owners will never see the track. I hope you can get those dollars for the car...I'm a firm believer in supply and demand!!!
Having said that, I (and this is purely my opinion) would not pay that kind of money.
