2008 GT3 RS available.... Orange

Look, the RS will hold its value near MSRP...similar to the 993 TT...the 100K markups are simply emotion and not reason. However, if money is not an issue, you have nothing to lose whatever the situation.
Marc, I love what you said "and I am stupid when it comes to cars and watches"...LOL ...that is awesome!!!
I'm kinda done with P-Cars for now...onto F-Cars or RUF...

Values could go up if you crash enough of them.

When you say you bought an allocation can you elaborate. If I were a betting man I would be willing to bet these car cars allocated to Manhattan Motorcars and you are selling for a premium. Honestly I have no problem with that because I strongly believe in supply and demand but dont sugarcoat and act like you bought these cars from other dealers. Be more than happy to prove me wrong on this one and post the vins of these cars so we can see what the orginal dealer was.

Enzos I believe are Fcars. A Carrera GT is a Porsche and if you look in the right place $300K is not difficult for a $440K Porsche.

Truth is if anyone can truly predict the future or values of RSs they would be out buying lottery tickets right now. People are paying over sticker for these cars because they are hard to get. I think someone on this Fourm said that you should not buy cars as investments. I say invest in Real Estate (in the right location). If you buy a RS buy it to drive it and be happy that you are one of the few that has one.

Steve, I must say you are full of sh.... 3 on e-bay are struggling to get to 170k.I will also say the car is not worth 170k after owning a 997 gt3. Also put the car in the classified section where it belongs.

I love the color debate, that is what makes us all different. However, I do find it interesting that when I ordered my 2004 GT-3 in white everyone, including the dealer though I was crazy. Now the biggest color upcharge is for white and it is still the most ordered color. That is why my new RS will be in the garage with his brother in matching white!

Sorry, forgot to mention in my last post...there are plenty of ethical dealers out there. I was on the list at Porsche of Orlando for a over a year prior to being able to order a car. They are only getting two RSs for 2007 including mine, and even when they found out that their allocation for 2008 was one car they never tried to charge over MSRP.

Pray tell where?
There will be buyers lined up, assuming the car has no stories?
Back to the RS:
I think Steve and MMC are full of it, maybe they did a friendly Dealer exchange of cars to faciliate the mark up.
But Dealers do not historically pay over invoice for any new car, even if it is a buyback.
Now, watch them hide behind privacy rules in order not to disclose where they got the RS. Always convenient when they want to obfuscate. Interesting how the selective disclosure always works in their favor. E.G I have an RS for sale, and I paid over Sticker for it. Where? Oh, I can't go into that.
