One of my instructors once described what it's like to drive his 500hp 930 turbo on the track.

He said you'd have the gas pedal smashed troughout the whole corner and just prayed and waited for the power to kick in at the apex.
wait....wait....wait....*power starts kicking in*...LIFT!!...LIFT!!...LIFT!!!!

Said it was pretty scary, just because of the turbo lag.

Now, obviously you can't compare a GT2 and a 930 as the GT2 is lightyears away and turbos have developed tremendeously over the past years but I'm sure there's still a bit of lag in every FI car...
