GMG 997 GT Cup Harness/Roll Bar
An evolution of the factory Tequipment bar, our GT Cup bar is made of 4130 Chrome-Moly Tubing that has been tig welded and normalized for superior strength and rigidity. A common problem of the factory T equipment bar is that it requires the use of 1-piece fixed back GT3 style seats for proper leg room. If you are 5’10” and taller moving the seat back far enough is a challenge with factory bar. The GMG 997 GT Cup Harness/Roll Bar offers these key features.

- Made of Chrome-Moly Tubing that has been carefully tig welded and normalized
- Designed to work standard reclining seats or GT3 fixed back seats offering drivers the ability to move the seat all the way back (Not possible with the factory Tequipment Rollbar)

That was an introductory special we ran several months ago.

Normal price has always been $1495.00

With the skyrocketing cost of metal we have not raised the prices although our material costs have gone up signifigantly.

Does mounting at the rear seat belt anchor points provide as much strength and rigidity as the DasSport and the ClubSport RS Roll bar that mount to the rear shock towers??
How much would it cost to ship that orange one to VA?

 

I need one painted carrera white!

 

The Porsche Factory T Equipment bar mounts to the same location and we have had no issues with rigidity or strength we also added an additional cross bar to further stiffen the bar over the original factory design.
The Factory RS Bar and others on the market that mount to the rear strut towers require cutting of the carpet to attach to the car. Our bar does not require cutting of the carpet.
