Ritesh is infamous around these parts
The TPMS is way off and virtually uselss IMHO. I kept see the warning light when I was at the track. The only real use IMHO is if you have a flat and don't realize it.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. I think the TPMS is a great tool. I've had two flats- 1 induced by a screw on the interstate...the other, worked the bead loose while going around Rockingham Speedway.

The first time I had the warning go off and say FLAT TIRE I thought it was joking. Had to be wrong. But I pulled over anyway to check it out and sure enough, as soon as I stopped, like a leaning bus it went completely flat.

But the 2nd is the more important of the two, IMO. I was going around the Rock, reaching 130mph on the straight and going through the banks around 100mph when I got the same warning, FLAT TIRE, as I'm going through the banks. Again, not believing it could be true (I'm on a racetrack, not a public road...) I pulled into the pit anyway. Sure enough, the tire had 23psi and was slowly losing air. While it didn't go flat, it noticed that air was escaping the tire and that is important to me. And this was on track, when the warnings were already going off for low tire pressures. A great tool, IMO.

I will have to disagree as well. i use the TPMS as an indicator as to when my MPSC's have built up sufficient heat. Even though the numbers aren't accurate I know that once the tire pressure has gone up 3-4# that they have enough heat to really do some seroius driving!
