Thanks gang...here's the best part...its 106 F indicated on the dash today....went out for an hour long drive, and the water temp stayed just below 180, and the oil temp at about 180 as well....A/C had to be turned down because it was getting too cool, and not a hiccup in the whole journey.
Amazingly brilliantly engineered car in addition to the aesthetics seen in the pics.

no, I just can't see the need to mod it in any way....love it just the way it is.
I dunno, call me an old fart, but I think the straight pipes on a CGT are almost too loud ***ducks***

Beautiful shots Jas! I did notice one thing on the shot of the wheel. Your safety pin looks as if it's recessed and not in the full "out" position. Maybe the photo is playing tricks on my eyes but it appears that the blue wheel nut is partially on top of the spring loaded safety pin. The wheel nut appears to need another slight turn to allow the safety pin to come out all the way.

I did see that in the shot Jeffrey, and it was corrected the next time at the dealer. I wonder if the torque multiplier set up dealer service uses can be purchased ?
Maybe Fabryce or Mike at AWE could help out here...how do you guys get the wheels off ?

The pin will do it's job if the nut works loose, it would only be a few mm until the protrusion on the nut had cleared the pin, enabling it to pop out.
Here's a picture of one of mine, it's just returned from a service at Porsche Cars GB so it's not an issue.

This is as it should be. I asked the same question when I picked my car up. The technician said they had torqued the nuts correctly and that they would in effect have to 'over' torque the nut to get the pin to pop out.
