Thanks! Yes, I do plan on taking it to the track. I have a feeling i will get very into it. I really cannot wait to feel what this this car is like on the track to really feel what it was built for. I may take some driving lessons first, maybe skip barber school.

Very nice set up. Don't keep us in suspense. You better post pics as soon as the wheels go on!

Hey Neil the car is looking great. It's fun doing projects. I really like my Cargraghic mirrors, look into them. Have Champion check out the parts like they did for me. The front "smiley" vents in CF are beautiful. The roll bars look awesome. The white comes out great. If you are considering headers I can only submit to you to look at the FVD system before you make a decision. IMHO it is the best, period end of story. Ask Champion about the power gains and the sound is the best! Price is also better than the substandard competition. Can't wait to see your wheel choice. Glad to see you're getting rid of those factory anchors. Great job with the car. GT3Ranger...Juan

Juan,
How much longer until you have the dymags? I am curious to see how they perform/look. Right now am debating between dymags and RS98s.

Hey Juan, thank you! When i was at Champion we actually spoke about your car a little bit. I still would like to hear it one day in person, so we have to meet up one day when we are both free. I would like to hear it first to help me decide on which exhaust to get. The new wheels should be here around the end of the month.

Btw, do you ever autocross your car? I just joined the PCA and someone pointed out the autocross in Hialeah October 21st I believe. I am going to try to make it out there to play around with the GT3 are you going to be there also?

Hello again GTS-R, I am still waiting on the Dymags. They take forever. They are custom made for each car in England then go to Rennworx in Cali for powder coating the centers. I ordered gunmetal centers. Usually it's 8 to 10 weeks. Tony Kanaan has a set on one of his street cars and he drives the **** out car and wheels. He's told me there's been no problem. So I still wait. Trust me there will be pics when they arrive. Plan for pics with the wheel on scales to show the weights, dyno runs to show potential rwhp gains as I've been told and pics on the car. All this so other 6speeders can tell they hate them, they suck and they prefer the stockers (31.7 lbs anchors).

Hey Neil how are you? I have to get you to hear my GT3 and drive it. You'll be amazed with the power gains. Autocrossing is not for me. When you've road raced autocrossing just doesn't cut it. It is good to learn better car control. Your time behind the wheel is too short. Same reason why drag racing never grew on me. Anyway hopefully this week we can meet at Champion. My hands are a little full though because this week we'll finish modding the E60 M5. That V10 puppy will pull 590 to 600 rwhp. It's luxury on steroids, as I call it. See you soon GT3Ranger...Juan

Juan,

I agree, even though i never tried autocrossing i would much prefer to do something on a real track. But i will give the autocross a try since i never did it before. Do you know of any other "real" track events coming up? I would love to go to that.

Let me know this week when you have time, i will try to plan my day around it. Hopefully all this rain we been having stops soon.

Sounds like your M5 is going to be a monster!
