daily driving an exotic can't be financial sound, whether it's defacement by haters or maintenance costs(tires, clutch, service). Unfortunately, the daily dilemma of deciding which car to take out will quickly cause the 'not-as-fun-as-the-Lambo' car to be ousted.

whatever car i buy will be the daily driver. a sedan will be there for extra seats. = )

that said, 2 more years, and i'll be in the market for a '09-'10 LP560-4 to be daily driven.

i use my 06 pearl orange gallardo daily around SF. The rides are quite hard since i lowered it and also because of the s**t road in SF. no problems at all though..gotta enjoy and hit the redline everyday!!

I didn't DD my Gallardo, and regret it. I DD's my 360 and am currently DD'ing my Vanquish. I love it!

I plan on buying another G so I can put more miles on it. You only live once... and if you buy a used one with some miles on it the depreciation isn't as bad as you think.

as long as your daily drive allows you to enjoy the car, then why not?! for my daily drive, i sit in traffic and almost get hit about a dozen times. a comfy seat, an automatic transmission, good AC, and satellite radio are my best friends.

There is one Canadian Gallardo owner in Edmonton who put 100,000 on his in the first 2 years of ownership. He drove it all winter long, which is quite impressive being in Edmonton.

if you're not going to drive it often, just rent it. if you're considering it an investment....its a bad one whether it has 3k miles or 100k miles. if you can afford one, drive the hell out of it. if the peasants give you ****, down shift and leave them in your rearview mirror! by peasants I mean the rest of us that can't afford one.
