Thinking of getting a Gallardo few questions
Its just came upon me that I want one :/
Want to get a 2004 since you can find one at around 130. The questions are..
*I plan to drive it as a everday car around 1000 a month.
*What kind of maintance should I expect to pay? Is this car durable to drive every day?
*What should I look out for when I buy one?
Its either this or a 360 Modena but I know that this is worst as far as maintance is.

1000 miles a month is alot of miles, your maintenance isn't going to be cheap but still less than a Ferrari.

You should spend a little more and get a 2005 if you can, then fixed some issues that the 2004's had but if you can't spend the extra money, go for the 2004, it's probably better than the 360....

I have been looking into 2004's and 2005's as well. The main difference in the 2005 is the front lift to help with minmizing scraping the frint end. A lot of people have also remarked to make sure the clutch has been replaced with the newer 2006 clutch. Especially when it comes to e-gear, make sure the clutch was changed. Its an $8,000 job to replace the clutch in an e-gear from what I have read. If you are in Dallas, there are a few really nice 2004's over at Lambo of Dallas. An orange one and a white one from their website.

I had an 04' (late production car) that I had zero problems with...the car was awesome. The clutch is about $4K-4500 to replace (most of which is labor cost). There are some definate advantages to 06+ cars such as exhaust, horsepower, lift system, and general fixes "here and there" that always take some time to work out after the initial launch of a car. I would do an 06' but if your budget does not allow for it there are some nice 04's out there.
