I was talking to a friend of mine, and a friend of his (that sounds kinda corny haha) is looking to trade his 2004 Gallardo for an 05-06 F430. Now dont want to get in to the huge debate on why, but i just wanted to see what you lambo guys think the car is worth. I have not seen the car yet, i might be seeing it this weekend, but i am not in direct contact with the seller so... Here is the info i have so far -
2004 Gallardo
3600 miles
Pearl Yellow
Black interior with yellow piping
E-gear
freshly installed Titanium exhaust (dont know the company)
The owner said last time the car was at the dealer for service they commented on how pristine it was, again i havent seen it yet.
I have done some research and i wanna say the car is worth 137,000 - 140,000? TIA

give or take 130 ish, wow, it seems these cars have taken a bigger hit depreciation wise than i thought, and 118K with 15k miles, its just weird to me to see these cars at such "low" prices even with that kind of mileage, thanks for the input so far, ill relay the info.
what do you guys think a dealer would give him on a trade in?

It will definitely be on the low end trade in for sure, reason being you can get 05/06's for 165 on down to like 140, and people are weary of the 04's with the premature clutch wear and so on!

If he hasn't had the clutch upgrade, his car will be worth less than 130 on the private market for sure. Most people shopping for these cars like myself, have done their research and know the cost to replace the clutch on a 04 e gear. It should have been done under warranty, though.

Definately makes sense, yea i have no clue if he did the clutch or not. I didnt know the tranny problem was just for 04 either. Btw, both of your cars are soo nice, im a fan of blacked out turbo's, and im just a fan of RUF.

Dealer trade I would say 120-123...look at the recent Manhiem auction results..pearl yellow is highly desireable...silver or black you can knock 10k or more off from what a pearl yellow is. I just bought an 04g one last month at a dealer, 7200 miles, tubi, pearl yellow, no nav or glass hatch, no stories, for less than 130k...I paid cash though so that might make a difference. The guy traded it for a 430 also...

I would say your looking at 125,000 Retail and 10 - 15K less for a dealer trade. I just so happen to be a dealler so I would think I know the market just a bit :-) The Gallardos are dropping fast and the resale is horrible. I actually dont have a single Gallardo in stock and dont plan on stocking any unless one comes in on trade. I do have 430's though :-)

The value of that G is about 130's but if he hasn't replaced the clutch knock off 5 k at least. I predict a fall soon with the new g and 06's coming off of warranty and the r8 and Gtr, and 911 tt upgrade.
