Gallardo purchase

i'm in the process of buying a gallardo
should i get an 08 or wait for the lp550?
can the gallardo be driven on a daily basis, lets say around 20,000 miles per year
and when an order is placed how long is the waiting time for the car to be delivered?
best regards
i was considering the f430 and the R8 but leaning towards the gallardo
it will be my daily driver

so wait, did you drive a sequential before or not?
i'll pm you right now with my contact details
i'll be more than happy to let you drive my f-car for an impression of how different it is from autos (obviously), but also from stick-shift manuals. i think this is the most important factor when considering any similar car for a daily driver
if you like it, you'll love anything that came later because it's a 355, and they're considered ancient when it comes to how more comfy the sequentials have grown to be over the years.
that being said, 75k kd for a gallardo is way too steep IMO.. even if it were a lp550!
at any rate, my num is in your inbox

i drove my 2004 Gallardo for almost a year and it was really a great everyday car and from what ive heard they made them better from 2006 and up so you will really enjoy it but the Gallardo prices went really up so if it was me id think again with what i can do with the $$ .
MKS compared to your murcielago
which more daily friendly? the gallardo or the murcielago?

i would like the car to be delivered by mid august
if i buy an lp560-4, could it be delivered by mid-august?
finally can the car be ordered, with Matte-black?

Well I cant say if he deserve's this or not, but if his parents are willing to get this car for him then its pretty common thing as there are quiet a few teenagers here with Gallardo's, F430's and other exotics.
I my self have nothing to do with the decision making process in this acquisition, but dont get me wrong I dont approve of this but what to do its the guys decision and he would do what ever he thinks pleases both parties at the end.
Good luck with the acquisition.

if it was upto me i would buy a used one,
but my father is the one buying the car for me
dont worry i'm not daddy's spoiled kid, i worked really hard to deserve this type of cars
and he refuses to buy a used car.
and he gave me these options to choose from:
1, gallardo
2, f430
3, audi R8
4, aston martin db9
5, aston martin vantage
and i chose the gallardo, i'll keep the car for around 3-5 years by the time i sell it i really won't care how much i'll sell it for

I agree. there is nothing wrong for a teenager to be driving exotics. lucky for him, that he got a father that trust him(his driving skill) and love him. i know a guy in lambotalk that his father get him a murcie when he is 18

If you had just asked a simple question of if you should wait for the LP 560 or not, then you would have received only responses related to that subject. But instead you tell us how your daddy is buying it for you, but that you're not a spoiled daddy's kid, and that you've worked really hard for it. Please. If you worked really hard for it, then why aren't you buying it yourself? i have no problem with your age. It's your claim that you're not a spoiled kid, which it seems you are. No problem... just be honest and acknowledge that.
To answer your question, I'd wait for the new G.
