Wow,what a choice to make,i love both of those cars, but i would have to choose the new Gallardo,it looks out of this world and i bet it sounds fantastic!
If i won the lottery i would have both in my garage without hesitation!

It solely depends on what you like. For my money, I would buy the GT2 and never look back.

It's still a Porsche and unlike a CGT it's still a 911 and a 911 is not worth $250K+ as it is NOT an exotic and there are far better choices in that price range, such as a Lambo.
I have to disagree. Here is what Motor Trend has to say about the new Gt2

"The GT2 is, quite simply, the finest road-going Porsche of all time. Yes, better even than the $450,000, V-10-powered Carrera GT exoticar. Really."

"On our exclusive figure-eight test, the GT2 left us awestruck, circling the course in only 22.9 seconds. That's quicker than the Carrera GT. Quicker than the Ferrari Enzo. Quicker, in fact, than any street-legal car we've ever tested."

"So, certainly, you're looking at the finest Porsche road car of all time. And at one of the greatest sports cars the world has ever seen"

So its up to you...do you want the FINEST car Porsche has EVER made in its 70 year history? Ya Ya The LP 560-4 has "exotic" car looks but so what? Are you buying it for people to stare at you or for your own driving pleasure? And let me tell you the blaring stares from onlookers gets old fast.

In some places people don't even care about "exotics" anymore. Here in Western OC lambos, Porsche's, Ferrari's are a dime a dozen.

I'd go with the GT2. The Lambo is beautiful but it gets way too much attention. The Porsche gets respect Plus, its a better car.

I'd get the Lamborghini, because in addition to its performance it's a work of art, and I'd love looking at it as much as driving it. It's the best thing Lamborgini has done since the 70s, and perfect for Saturday night dinners and those Sunday morning spirited drives with the guys.

If I were shopping for a track toy I'd go with the Porsche, but personally I'd rather get the GT3 than the GT2.

If you like a lot of attention go with the Lambo. If you like a little attention every once in a while go with the GT2. GT2 will be easier to deal with on daily driving IMO, although the Lambo is doable as well.

I'd take the gallardo. Knowing porsche I'd bet the 911 GT2 will be a better performing car, but I love the exclusivity of the Gallardo. there are so many 911s running around now it's frustrating with all the brand dilution.

GT2 is not expensive than Gallardo (comparing GT2 and 08 Gallardo not LP one)
Here in my country GT2 costs 350k Euro and Gallardo costs 350k Euro+ (SL370k,Spyder 370k)

Even you think there will be %7 price up for the LP560, no way GT2 will cost more than G.
