Koenigsegg dealership in Long Island...

Call me crazy, but I've never been a huge fan of the Koenigsegg. First off, the car looks amazing in photos, but much less so in person. Up close, it looks sort of kit-carish and cheap on the outside, with absolutely horrendous interior and ergonomics inside. Although the performance is amazing, the car is supposed to be next to impossible to control and very unstable at speed (I believe it was the only car that The Stig ever crashed on the show). If an F1 race-car driver can't handle this thing, how can mere mortals like us? Finally, $1.2 million dollars is a lot of money to pay for a car with no pedigree or racing history and a supercharged V8 Mustang-block engine. Technologically, this car is ten years behind something like the Bugatti Veyron or even the much cheaper Carrera GT.

It looks like they are at the old Ferrari/Maserati locale in Glen Cove, which is 10 minutes from me. Maybe I'll even see the car bopping around here, as you certainly won't miss it. It looks like a great color of blue and the detail of everything is staggering. At this level you can't even talk about price or "these other cars are better", i.e. I'd rather have a Carrera GT, 430 & Murci instead. Someone that buys this probably has, or has had all of those ...

truly amazing how THAT place became a distributor. I thought that Exotics dealer at Caesar's in Vegas (http://www.ecacp.com/aboutus.aspx) was the only NA dealer/distributor, but I guess not.
Interesting color choice, not too bad.

wow truly amazing I might have to take a trip out to long island. But honestly for over 1 million I'd rather have a Murcielago and a nice million dollar home to store it at in south florida. that's just me of course...
