The SLR must have been modded heavily.

I believe that the Evotech stage 1 consists of a pulley and ECU tune. Probably putting down 575rwhp.

Its a SLR (NOT 722) with stage one JUST an ECU upgrade. Power is increased to 645ps(655bhp)@6600 revs and a maximum torque of 835Nm. From 626 PS (617 hp/460 kW) at 6500 revolutions per minute and a maximum torque of 780Nm. The power difference is'nt that large,so the LP640 should have kept up with the SLR. Only explanation is the SLR had a much better driver.

SLR is automatic - stomping the gas isn't that hard

I have beat an LP640 in an SLR before. From a slow roll, higher MPH roll, etc, I won every time. The dude driving the LP owned both cars (and knows how to drive the Lambo well as it is his 2nd Murci), it was my 1st time driving the SLR. I have also taken another SLR to the drag strip and ran an 11.4 @128 in AZ temps and elevation (No LP640 is doing that). Both SLR's were stock.
