Just got back from seeing the LP 560-4 coupe. Looks exactly the same as the old gallardo except for different lights and bumper. Only difference...the coupe was $264K...and it was not 100% optioned out which makes me believe that the spider will be pushing 300K. I love the gallardo but for 300K go for the older model for 2/3rd the price...just my 2 cents.

 

You'll probably be able to get the older model for less than 2/3rd the price of the new 560, especially used with a few thousand miles. Just give it a few months, they'll be in the low 100's, maybe lower.

 

Are you talking about Coupes or Spyders?

 

For 250 to 300K, why wouldn't you buy a used Murci? I like them both, but that's a lot of money.

The only coupes in the low $100Ks will be 04-05s.
I would take an LP560 over any Murci, maybe even an LP640.

Yes, the car didn't change that much... But the engine, transmission, suspension, etc are supposed to be much more refined than just bumpers/lights (which improved a lot IMO as is).

If the Spyder was going to be a $102,000 more than the coupe, it'd need to offer a boat load of performance. I'd predict between $210-$220K in reality.

Destination charge of $6837.00. I assume that's airfreight (as oppose to the seafreight of $2,100.

If it's a car on the dealer lot, I wouldn't want to pay for the airfreight charge at all.

Correct that is airfrieght and changes daily on the price of fuel...the sea frieght is down to 2000 as of yesterday.

 

if not 300, 275. hopefully it will help stabilize the price on the used ones.

 

What is the Branding Package? Is that where I give them $900 so they can stick 2 emblems on the sides?
