The top on the murci roadster is a HUGE turn off for many people. You feel very vulnerable knowing you can't quickly put it on.

Why not spring for a Murcie coupe? Most likely cheaper, not to mention you still get the improved performance and cachet of driving the v12 lambo. Of course, if you're dead set on a roadster then I suppose it makes no difference. Either way they're both beautiful cars so you won't be too hard done keeping your current raging bull.

you should follow your heart. Brands like Lambo and Ferrari offer 'more car' when the paycheck is heavier. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Me as well. If i had a white G Spy, the only thing I'd consider changing it for would be the LP560 Spy when it arrives!

Actually I just got home from a run through my neighborhood (near the marina downtown). Ran passed a parked G Spy (top down), then a Murci Roadster (top off). Examined both up close. While the Murci demanded much greater attention, the G looked more fun, nimble, nicer interior, practical, easier to drive, etc etc. Both amazing cars, though.

Already been stated, but why don't you drive both and see what suits you best. Good luck!

I traded my Black Gallardo Spyder for a Green Murci Roadster. At first I had buyer's remorse. After driving the car and putting 3k on it, I finally fell in love with it. I now have 7200 miles on it (purchased it with 780 miles in June). I've learned to accept the cons because this is one HOT car!
Here are my pro's and cons:
Negatives:
Much harder riding car.
Engine noise with the top on is VERY LOUD!!! It's much better with the top off.
It will take a good 10-20 minutes to put the top on and hopefully you have someone to help you.
If not put on correctly it will leak badly!!!!! Some owners say it leaks anyway.
Seats aren't as comfy.
The heat that the car gives off on the driver side is VERY HOT!!!! Passenger side is much better. You have to have the windows down so the hot air can get sucked out. No driving with the A/C on and windows up in the summer! At night, it's like have the heater on , so that is a plus.
Stereo sucks. (Put in a Pioneer and you need speakers too)
There is vitually NO trunk space if the top is in there compared to the Gallardo. (No over nighters with a passenger and bags)
Not a car for the track. The rear end is very loose!
Positives:
It is a SEXIER looking car than (lp560 or regular G)
It is a more powerful driving car.
Maintenance is not bad.
You'll get used to parking it. (I had a back up camera installed and put on a seperate switch so I can have it on while driving). The heat from the exhaust however, causes the camera to over heat, so 20 minutes max after turning on and off.
When the windows are up it's less windy than the Gallardo.

Merci vs. Gallardo

I drove both on the same day and here is my conclusion(s).
The Merci is a pain in the *** to get in and out of. It is also VERY low so you have to take any turns in and out of driveways, shopping centers at <3mph (lets just say raising and lowering is a pain as well). I won't even mention the top b/c it's a joke.... But nothing stops traffic like a Merci. If you want attention, this will get it.

The Gallardo, on the inside, I thought felt bigger thean the Merci (I'm 6'2" - 250) so with all these cars it's and issue. I thought the Gallardo was easier to drive and more practical but the look are not as stunning and it is actually a very small car. If you plan on driving the car often, get a Gallardo, if you are driving it to impress yourself and others once a week, get a Merci.

And as stated earlier in the thread, without even driving a LP560, that would be my choice but I'll wait for a spyder :-)
