'08 Gallardo Superleggera: Price Check

We are saying the same thing then. It just seemed like you were really pushing the 560...but if he really likes the SL, its not like hes not getting a wonderful car. And its more like 50k though vs. 30...

I'm with Dario.
To us, the 560 is better, and probably even a better "value".
However, the SL is still a bit cheaper and if it's what YOU want in the end, that's what you should get. Both are wonderful cars. Good luck!

I don't understand ^^^^
anyhoo ... If you were willing to spend the $220K+ on a SL then what's $30K more in the scheme of things ... You're gonna lose that extra money on an SL via resale value and older body style anyway.
The car has a ridiculously improved E-Gear that is a night/day difference from the SL and you can feel the power difference although it seems little on paper.
HOWEVER, if YOU like the SL better then that is what you should buy ... I told you what they're worth and I just thought I should throw some opinions out there in case you hadn't weighed all the options.
Welcome to the Lambo club!

Haha, good one! I'm talking about one with delivery miles. I've already been offered a full loaded SL for $208,000 ($264K tag). Only problem is that it's orange.

I saw yellow black and orange side by side...the first two blew my mind!

I just went through this whole mental torture a couple of months ago.
I bought a slightly used demo SL, I'm first on the title. The reason for
me where:
The rarity of the SL, I think will hold slightly better long term value.
The cost delta when optioned similiarly would have be $50 - $60K
more for the LP. This is comparing what I paid for my SL versus what I would
have ordered a new LP for.
I have no doubt that the LP is an improvement but after talking to a few,
I could not justify the premium.
In the end, I think that 3 - 4 years from know, there will be a lot more used LP's for sale which will drive down their value faster the the fewer SL's
and the up front premium paid now would be diminished to nothing or
very little later.
Either way you go, you end up with a rediculously cool car. Just a matter of
personal preference!!

First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone in this thread for taking their time out to help me. Your opinions have helped open me up to many different options. While at the dealership today, I saw a beautiful yellow SL and inquired about the price. The car was sold, but they showed me another yellow SL. It was a demo, but I took a look at the car and it is amazing. The MSRP is $258,000 and they brought it down to $230,000. After about an hour of negotiating, the final price they have given me is $205,000. The car has 1800 miles, and no title. The car was not tracked. Should I pull the trigger on this? Is it a good value? I thought so, but I wanted to double check on the forum!
