IMO the UGR TT is by far the most professional. I think the piping all coated and everything else they do simply looks awesome. Heffner is playing catch up to what Kevin and the guys at UGR have accomplished in a short period of time.

i spoke with heffner at that show where the pic was taken for quite awhile, incredibly nice guy and more than happy to talk shop with someone who obviously isnt even a potential customer (myself).
unlike the stainless/chrome finish on other piping, the heffner kits exhaust parts are all ceramic coated (thats why its not as shiny) which keeps the heat IN the pipes....this has a few benefits, including reducing engine bay temps (wont affect that intercooler) and also keeps the exhaust gasses flowing faster.
its a well thought out design and the piping is all designed to be as short and high flowing as possible

read my post above....the shiny finish on the UGR is purely cosmetic, whereas the ceramic coating on the new heffner kit is actually funtional.
obviously the UGR kit performs well and its built very nicely.......but heffner has more cars on the road, and more experience under his belt with numerous TTG kits with a lot of mileage on them and still running strong.
i wouldnt say he is playing catch-up at all.......they are both great products.

Ha Ha, you really drank the Kool-Aid. So which is it? You say the UGR kit is "purely cosmetic" but then you say the UGR kit "performs well" and is "built very nicely". How does it perform well if it's "purely cosmetic"? Who has the fastest proven Gallardos out there? As for experience, Heffner has done more because he started doing them before UGR. The same WAS true in the Viper world several years ago. Once UGR decided to do them they completely dominated the Viper performance industry, not only with the highest quality products but with proven performance. Breaking and smashing every record out there. The same is happening here. The first few UGR kits were nicer than the evolved kits heffner has. They didn't need the learning curve that the heffner guys have claimed when Ripper (Jerry Kennedy's) car got hacked up. Do yourself a favor and take a close look at the pictures floating around of Jerry's car. Furthermore, have you driven or even ridden in a twin turbo gallardo? I have and can say that the UGR setup isn't "purely cosmetic"

did you fail reading comprehension in grade school?
i'll quote myself so you can read this again without all the other words to confuse you.
"the shiny finish on the UGR is purely cosmetic"
i merely stated that the SHINY FINISH was purely cosmetic.......so unless youre trying to tell me that shiny pipes flow better than non-shiny pipes, my statement is correct and is simply a valid observation.........i didnt say anything negative about the kit, in fact i said it appears very well built and also obviously performs well from the videos weve all seen, so i was actually complimenting the UGR kit.
you are overly defensive to the point that you tried to twist my words into something you had to rebut.....it makes you seem like a silly child......any rational person reading these threads would conclude that the only person drinking any koolaid is you.
i have no affiliation and no loyalty to either brand, and i would love to have either shops kit, i think they are both badass......i have absolutely no bias at all.

Relax. UGR v Heff is getting old fast, and ruining the overall experience of seeing what these cars can do. Both setups are quality, and have proven characteristics with speed and longevity.
