'06 and up Gallardo's

The car bug is biting again and I am looking at a Gallardo. See many from 2006 and up at great prices. Question. How is the front seat head room for a 6'3" tall person? Are there seat lowering kits available similar to the Vipers? Even with the seat kit in the Viper I need to crouch down at the track for helmet clearance. If I could fit in the Gallardo comfortably w/o the helmet I won't track it. Thanks for the help.

There's more headroom in the G than in the Viper. Even at 6'3" I doubt you'd have any issues. I'm 6' and I have plenty of room....way more than in the Vipers.

I'm 6'1" and didn't think there was enough. I need to try again. Would also appreciate any seat lowering information or aftermarket racing bucket seats.

I'm 6'3 and the cabin is very tight. You will have much more room in a F430 if you're looking for a roomier fit.

Agreed I am 6'2 and I'd say there is more headroom in the G. Either way, you tend to "find" comfort in the car you lean towards with the overall driving.

Thanks for all the input fellas but just sat in one today and headroom wasn't even close. In fact, don't know how anyone close to 6 feet can fit in this car. It was a spyder so don't know if the coupe is different but even another inch or two won't matter. I mean it wasn't even close.

Im almost 6'4 but I bought the Spider because of the easier fit with the top down.
