Tires for the Gallardo

I have a 19/20" set-up on my 04 G. Which of the following sets of tires would you chose if you had to pick one?

Continental ContiSportContact 3
vs.
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position

I was going to add PS2's but they run a little big, and I don't want rubbing of the tire on the fenders when I turn the steering wheel all the way.

Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

I think we have a set of slightly used (100 miles, seriously) Conti's in the shop...send me a reminder email to Sam@AutoTalent and I will check for you once I get back into the shop

I had a set of Conti's (19/20's) on mine with no issues.

robbielee is infamous around these parts
what tire size do you reccomend for a gallardo the current stock tires are too small and dont overhang the rims, as a result i've buggered up 3 of the rims, I've just purchased some new rims and am wondering if going 10mm wider on the tires is ok just to get the overhang. Only problem i can see is potential rubbing on the fronts when on full turning lock. Anyone else done anything about this ?

I have Conti SC III's on my Makiveli rims (19/20) and they are actually pretty good. Not very noisy, and they seem to have grip that is on par with the Pirelli Rossos. With that said, Bridgestones are good tires as well, I just never used them personally.
