They originally told my secretary no, but when I called I asked to add the 640 to my existing policy and they said they can do it for 6 months as it is a new acquisition and I have to have insurance, but they don't guarantee that they will keep the policy after it is reviewed at 6 months. Regardless the price was insane, so I'm shopping around. Car arrives this weekend so I'm on it asap.

I use Allstate, but had to do a "stated value" policy on both the Aston and Lambo. Rates were reasonable, around $150/month for each.

Since Allstate didn't have enough info on the Vanquish and G, it wouldn't pull up in their system. So, I "stated" the value of my car (based on what I paid for it), and that's what they insured it up to.

At first, they said they couldn't cover it because they didn't have enough info to valuate it. They were fine with covering it up to my stated value.

If they do, play around with the values. IE, on one of my cars I think I had it listed as $100k stated value. Markets dropped, and I figured I could replace it for $85k. I dropped it to $79k, and my rates SIGNIFICANTLY dropped (almost half I think).

Don't ever use Geico. they have good commercials but their service sucks. some audi owners only experienced bad luck with them. imagine if you insure a lambo, they will try everything to rip you off.

Same thing with Progressive. I had terrible luck with them. Allstate and State Farm are both good about paying claims.

Grundy and Voyager http://www.classicautoquote.com/ have given me my best rates, but Im with my current policy NJ Skylands who insures 2 other personal vehicles for me. actually works out to a $100 more of the others, but...the lady said she thinks they may re-rate the policy after the photo inspection pics are recieved so it may go up and ill then switch
