F430 or Murcielago. Help decide

Hey guys,

I'm in the market for either of these two cars.
Here they are:

1. 2005 F430 Spider F1
Yellow w/ black interior yellow stitching
6000 miles - $150K

2. 2006 Murcielago Roadster
Yellow w/black interior yellow stitching
3000 miles - $180K

Help make up my mind! I'm going crazy hereee
Both of them are equally tempting.
Why is one better/worse than the other?
This will mainly be a weekend car.
I also have a 06 Gallardo SE white btw. just to put into consideration
Thanks!

Seems to me the 430 would be a top down car that is more similar to the G you already have. Sure, they are going to be different, but they are competitors with each other.
By comparison, the Murci is going to be more night and day I would assume. And way less of a 'drivers car' as they say than the 430...and I would venture a bit less usable.
But if its just for fun, I would prolly do the Murci personally...but it would be a hard call. Seem like they would be very different cars though.

Murcielago is niceeeee., but then again, F430 is awesome too.

I was recently in the similar situation but bt a 05 or newer F car or a 06 or newer G car. The murci seemed a tad out of reach for where I wanted to be for this years car.

A nice guy on the forum kuwait996...or bocca996 I forget said in a pm "don't put a lambo in the stable until you have a ferrari". At the time it was a 10-15k step up to get the f430 but that is what I did.

Not a huge vert fan so mine is a coupe and I love it!

That said, I think the next one will be a murci in the next year or two in the coupe.

Have you ever owned a Ferrari?

Tough decision. Those are 2 of my favorite cars. I was at the Ferrari dealer looking at a white Ferrari F430 with black rims yellow calipers absolutely amazing. The Murcielago was the car that made me love Lamborghini so much. If I had that kind of cash I have no idea how I would choose either. I am sure either way you go you will not be disappointed.

I've never owned a ferrari. Never driven one.
I'm gonna go and see the F430 tomorrow and will probably test drive it.
I somehow feel that Murci is a more masculine car. it is more extreme.
F430 is prettier and has better interior. But lacks the presence a murcie has.
oh and one thing, I heard that it is a PITA to put the top on on a Murcie?
I'm totally in a dilemma here..

To touch on your last point. It is the BIGGEST PITA to put on the soft top that comes with the Murcielago Roadster. Honestly, I would never put it on. Make sure you get the top though when you purchase the car from the dealership or previous owner. Keep the Murcie in the garage without the top and take it out when it is a beautiful day and then put it straight back in the garage. Test drive both and see which you would enjoy more.

have you seen it with the top on? it looks godawful. If i had a murci roadster I would never ever put the top on and I live in CO. the top was an afterthought at best.

trade gallardo for murci and buy a 430.

or keep gallardo and buy murci and 430. those two cars drive really very different. so much so, i wouldn't even think to compare them.

i have a problem selling anything though. i just keep buying. so dont listen to me, ha.

Driving a Murciealgo is an event, each and every time. Period. I do not think that could be said about the Ferrari. Similair........perhaps. But the Murcielago is a trade up. The 430 is a step sideways........just my humble opinion.
