Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo vs Twin Turbo Z06
well long story short...the lamborghini was suppose to race a 9sec Rx7 but the Rx7 broke his tranny while cruising to the race....come to find out there was a nasty C5 Z06 in the pack that was following (twin turbo, built motor)(I don't know if it was a bigger motor or just a forged Ls6)....after a bit of taunting by the Z06 and no Rx7 the Lamborghini decides to give the Z06 a try
race is 70-190(the video is wrong)

Welcome to the 6! Awesome video!

Seems like the acceleration between these two cars is very even. Looks like the Gallardo jumped and then the race was neutral.

kind of a crappy vid....only 1 run??
looks like they were pretty much even for power

Damn drag from the headlights!
A forged 347 could get him to ~ 800 RWHP

Another song that destroys a video, rendering it unwatchable - Who listens to kid rock anymore? 1998 is long gone...

It's hard to tell from the vid since the sound quality is bad and I couldn't hear the horn. But it's possible that they had a even start, the rear mount TT kit on the Z06 is known for the lag. The exhaust gas has to go all the way to the back of the car to the turbos, then the compressed air has to go all the way back to the front of the car through the intercoolers.

He clearly did get a jump, its plain on the video....trust me its not hard to overcome lag....racing from a roll!

Brake boosting? I know a bunch of guys with TT Vettes, STS, APS, TTi..etc. The STS guys always complain about the lag on their cars. Yes, from a roll it's easier to deal with lag but a rear mount TT system still won't get the boost response from a conventional front mount system like the APS or TTi.
