Sold the UGR TT 6-Speed Gallardo and Bought a..........

Car looks great! I understand your hesitation with yellow but I drove a yellow tri-coat SL while visiting Dallas last year and man it is sexy. It's just as striking as the other premium colors because of that tri-coat. Looking forward to checking out your new ride in March!

Aside from switching from 6-speed to Egear and color of course, was there sound reasoning for selling your first UGR Gallardo only to replace it with a UGR Superleggera?
I have never driven either and have zero frame of reference, but can only imagine you took a bath on the first one in order to do it again with the Superleggera.
Not trying to insult...just curious if you feel the difference between the two is substantial...

I never take a bath on any car i own.....having said that, I switched from the 05 to the 08 b/c I really wanted an SL. An opportunity provided itself to sell my 05 and to buy this 08...simple as that.
I love the e-gear, but only b/c of the Undergroud Racing shift program. The factory e-gear shifts too slow and not hard enough. It's almost comical how hard it shifts now...as you can tell by the vid that was posted that showed "inside the car" during shifts.

So what clutch are you currently running? If i recall, I read somewhere that in order to make 1550whp you need the upgraded clutch, which can be a bit jerky in stop and go situations.
Does the e-gear TTG feel faster than the 6-speed, with the same or less power?

I was wondering the same thing. How does the E-Gear compensate for an upgraded/grabby clutch disk. Any shuttering from a dead-stop or is the car able to modulate throttle when accelerating slowly to eliminate any non-OEM feel?
