We've seen on the showfloor in Beijing, but autoblog.nl caught sight of the SUV at Lamborghini hq. Yes, it's still and SUV from Lamborghini, but maybe getting a look at it in real life will change your opinion. For better or worse.

Didn't know Lambo was working on an SUV and don't really care. I don't like them. I do understand the need of a family for a real SUV but all these car-like vehicles that are big and heavy view blockers, I don't get. If there's no utility it's just a big, tall car. If there's no off-road ability, it's just a traffic slower. People feel safe in them and they ignore the flow of traffic.
I'll stop my rant here but I don't get it. Lambo could have easily made more car models if they wanted to make more money.

I don't get. If there's no utility it's just a big, tall car.
Some people need a bigger taller car with no room. Not sure why it's any more unacceptable than a van or minivan??
Fairly large assumption, isn't it? Just because it doesn't go off-road doesn't make it a traffic slower. The driver is the one that causes a vehicle to go slow, not the vehicle.
Again, an assumption and completely ridiculous one at that.
You don't have to get it... Lambo didn't make it for you. They felt their customers would want something like that if you don't like or get it, completely understandable but it's simple, if it's not for you, don't buy one.
I assure you that companies like Lambo spend millions of dollars and hours researching an idea before they go through the effort of just making a car. I personally think it's a great idea. Why not have a cool looking SUV if you can afford it.
No disrespect but you make some assumptions based on personal opinion with no facts or proof to back anything up. If you don't like it, I get it, don't buy one but don't assume that it's going to be some lathargic vehicle that doesn't have a need.
There's a butt for every seat and if that wasn't the case, there wouldn't have been a Gremlin, Pacer or Aztec ever sold...lol.

I think of most SUV owners the same as someone with a base 911 putting a turbo badge on their car. It's a faux car.
I have no problem with real SUV's that have 3 row seating and lot's of space for those who need it. But there are too many faux suv's that have on 2 rows and no utility that are in effect just big and tall cars.
Our roads are so congested these days it's becoming harder to enjoy driving. Add in the distracted people on cell phones and the congestion becomes worse. Add in the big, tall and mostly slower moving faux cars and the congestion is compounded.
Is this my personal feeling....darn right it is. Never said it wasn't. It's a public forum. WHy does my personal feeling bother you?

It's all cool... I was just defending big vehicles....lol. (cause I have a huge truck myself but I assure you it's not a slow vehicle)
