Porsche is def making more power than claimed and is awd converted. Gtr's tranny makes up for wieght difference.

Do you have any solid proof? I mean where did you derive the idea of gt2 making more power than claimed? Is it obvious in videos? I don't believe the weight difference is still marginal as you put out to be nor the claims of the gt2 making more power than 1000hp. I agree that it's awd converted but just because it puts the power down better on the road after a certain speed, it doesn't mean the gt2 has more power than claimed. If you realise when they started from 40 to 50 kmh, the gtr was nudging ahead because of it's awd traction system. It could be tyres, gear ratios, type of fuel used, etc.. These cars are built by Jan Fatthauer aren't they? He has a known reputation and I don't think they are cheap enough to lie about power figures after paying that much money on a BT1000 kit. Unless secretly the gt2 here that we see is modified even further to run the 1300hp kit but I doubt it.

I don't see any correlation regards to how the gt2 it's overpowered here. It's the same package brother and I think we shouldn't fool ourselves as to how well the Porsche GT2 puts its power to the ground especially in third gear. Rear engine + awd = more traction. As you can see from many videos of this car, the GT2 performs very similar to how it did on the latest dragtimes battle against the UGR G and two GTRs. GT2 is a lighter car overall and you should compare power to weight. Imo that specific GT2 has no secrets, even with a different driver, different weather conditions and different surface they race on which is evident in the video you posted.

That is switzer p800 hence 800 crank horsepower and pulled the gt2 from the door then was passed by the gt2. The video in question was 1000 crank horsepower gtr's getting pulled from the start. Now you see the point I'm making?

Yes, I do. Maybe the GTRs are actually underpowered and don't make 1000hp. That was my initial thought when I saw them get pulled from the start by the GT2. I guess we'll never know..

there are older videos of that same car where they claimed more power and it was advertised as such (1200) lll see if can dig them up when i have time.

there was a post from some russian guys, in fact claiming that the car was making around 1200hp .
