TTG Vs other Platforms on the street

300, it's not that bad looking. I guess they need to improve on the back on the car to be more appealing. Since that's what most people only see.

Ok, I'll give you the fgt and lambo. But the viper, eh! It reminds me too much of what I didn't like about the sls , the 20ft long front end and my but sitting on the rear tires.

You know, I used to think a bit like you do until I was at a Texas Mile event about 2 years ago and all weekend long I saw GTT's, FGT's, GTR's Ferraris, Corvettes, newer Vipers, old Panteras.
But at the end of the event, a blue with white striped Viper GTS rolled in and I nearly **** my pants! It just looked so massively beefy and sexy compared to what I had been looking all day long every day at the event. That color combination just does it with those proportions!

Ivan, there are other videos that show the supra reeling the ttg back in and the ttg shuts down.

300, blue and white viper, in our car crew we just completed putting a ugr tt kit on a 97gts viper. Had to modify parts of the kit to accommodate the larger turbos. But stock engine on e85 made 928rwhp yesterday and a little over 700 on pump gas. Pretty impressive. It does look like a beast and sound also.

You know, there are turbo kits for that generation Viper that do not require any cutting of the frame to fit turbos that can make that kind of power on E-85!
Blue and white is mean as hell! Congrats!

The Supra got the jump and the TTG walked by him. Plus this is only on 1250whp vs 1250whp. If the Lambo turned it to setting 4, he would ate him up.

With regard to the topic of this thread, I honestly believe that TTGs, GT-Rs and Porsches are the best platforms on the street (in no particular order). I also believe that once we start seeing Porsches making an 'honest' 1100-1200 whp (soon), they will surprise a lot of people. They do a lot, with a little.

This the only video that is reliable and already shows how fast the Gallardo with 1250 awhp against the GTR 1220 awhp

2007 Lamborghini Gallardo
Cd 0.34
Frontal area 1.95 meters^2
CdA = 0.663
2011 Turbo and Turbo S Coupe
Cd 0.31
Frontal area 2.05 meters^2
CdA = 0.635
2009-2011 GT-R
Cd 0.27
Frontal area 2.09 meters^2
CdA = 0.564
with 1400 1450 underground racing he picked a speed of 250 mph with a stage 3,i doubt very much that a GTR or a 911 turbo can do that
the videos that it is the only reliable is that if you win an RTG is that something goes wrong in the Gallardo,by which already see the difference that is actually in the video i post,the GTR would require much more power to win at the 1200 Gallardo awhp..

The Gallardo is actually not more aerodynamic than either the GT-R or the Porsche. It only looks that way. Research the Drag Area (combination of Drag Coefficient and Frontal Area) of all three cars and you'll see what I mean.
Why is that the only video that is reliable? Because the TTG won? Don't take everything at face value. The truth is, the other video (the one of the GT-R winning) is just as reliable as anything else out there, and more reliable than many more.

Real world videos appear that the TTG's do pull more up top, but this could be due to power curves, turbo sizing, coolness of AIT's and the like, not just aero.
Here is a nice post I found on the internet by Scott(Divxxextreme):
I just added the Viper to show whoever was saying the GTS has horrible aerodynamics when it has almost the identical to that of the Gallardo.
I've read a few posts recently where people are claiming that the Gallardo has better aerodynamics than the GT-R due to it's lower frontal area. Not true.
The drag area - the combination of drag coefficient and frontal area, represented as CdA, is actually lower for the GT-R.
Here are the numbers for both cars, as well as a few other cars for the sake of comparison:
2009-2011 GT-R
Cd 0.27
Frontal area 2.09 meters^2
CdA = 0.564
2011 Turbo and Turbo S Coupe
Cd 0.31
Frontal area 2.05 meters^2
CdA = 0.635
2007 Lamborghini Gallardo
Cd 0.34
Frontal area 1.95 meters^2
CdA = 0.663
1996 Dodge Viper GTS
Cd 0.35
Frontal area 1.90 meters^2
CdA = .665
C6 Z06
Cd 0.34
Frontal area 2.07 meters^2
CdA = 0.703
Veyron
Cd 0.36
Frontal area 2.07 meters^2
CdA = 0.745
Motor Trend calculated 22.5 sq-ft for the GT-R's frontal area:
"using Nissan's 0.27 drag coefficient, a 22.5 sq-ft frontal area computed per SAE formula"
22.5 sq-ft = 2.09 meters^2

I got the Gallardo info from data provided by Sport Auto magazine, the Corvette data from Car and Driver, the GT-R data was of course taken from MT, and the Porsche data was pulled from Porsche's own factory specifications.
