Spring 2012 Texas Invitational: King of the Streets
At the Spring 2012 Texas Invitational, the feature event in April was the King of the Streets competition. A single elimination, last man standing competition to determine not only who has the fastest car, but a car that could also survive round after round of intense side by side racing. Starting with a field of over 40 cars, participants lined up for a 1/2 mile roll race at the Caddo Mills Municipal airport to battle for the title of the King of the Streets. Watch below to see who walked away with the trophy, and how close some of the races actually were! The Fall event takes place this weekend (October 13th and 14th), and is a private event featuring not only the King of the Streets, but a 6-speed challenge, Corvette Shootout, and the always popular grudge races. Keep your eyes open for full coverage from the Performance Driving Network and 1320 Video, in the following weeks.

I know all the R-versions are the same, but damn it seems like Ohio SL's car was running like a monster.
From my understandings is that the tranny was acting up and they were concerned about breaking it.
