I hate the drama that controversy causes... Would be nice to have a time/speed, and that's it. What was the time? I missed it on the slip... Might help me understand a little bit more.

 

I don't think they display ET just trap speed.

 

Roger. Makes sense... Though it would clear up sooo much. But, I understand it is just easier to have one piece of measuring equipment (or I guess 2 - to average the speed over a given length - trap speed).

Was there just one timing line set up at the 1/2mile mark? Or was there one ~66ft before to average the speed? I realize that anything near this speed is insane anyway, I'm looking to see how insane it really gets.

I wonder what that's like to commute to work back and forth in... I wonder if a Prius would drain its battery at first site.

 

I agree with having some method of verifying speeds/times (i.e. Vbox, etc.) so we don't have instances like this. It clearly wasn't a one time occurrence as I was there both days and on the same day as the UGR pass I saw what I recall was a Gulf GTI run a reported speed in the 190's mph when it had run 120s-30s (if that) all passes early in the left lane. Even the announcer commented on the speaker that the speed was no way accurate and joked about it. Everyone is talking even the GTR guys over on their forum about it. http://www.gtrheritage.com/topic/283...33-in-12-mile/. By no means does it make it inaccurate but just adds to the chaos. Would love to see it repeated or even beaten and then we can put this issue to bed.

Are all of your pre-LP egear customers getting this clutch now that holds 2000whp and doesn't jerk that was in this 233mph car?

 

When the car comes back and after we inspect the new RPS clutch and all looks good then yes. We have been working on this new clutch setup for over 2 years. Well worth the wait. The clutch is smoother than stock! The clutch will only be available through Underground Racing for our Underground Racing TT customers.

 

So I'm sure SW will be having it next since he's the car to be watching out for. Would of thought he would be the first to have it with his race history with you all and not some newbie

 

SW doesn't like to be the test guy. He wants parts that are proven.

Why didn't you race your car? Why are you dodging your race with Felipe? After that call out you did and all? I guess after you see it go at TI you had 2nd thoughts?
