Lamborghini bad build quality? Really?

It seems all I hear latley is lambo does a bad job building the Gallardo and the Murci'. I know couple Gallardo owners, and they said its been a dream to own, no problems whatsoever. Is the Gallardo considered a reliable car like the 996tt is? Thoughts, opinions?

They likely had some first year build issues, but it seems like it's smoothed out quite a lot. The most common problems I hear about now are screwball dealerships.

no problems.... actually I lied... when I got the car brand new the driver's side headlight was not working due to a faulty bulb... besides that I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! It's a 2006 with 860 miles and counting! Long live the bull!

Something you can say is that you don't like the Lambo designs...thier technicians, mechanics are the best around...I think the only way to know that, is to check their factory. Competence at the highest level

Dude, theres nothing wrong with lambo quality. they are owned by audi, do you really think that theyre going to be bad quality being owned by a german company? the answer is no. a lot of people now are driving gallardos as daily drivers and havnt had many prob, if ANY at all.

to quote Jeremy Clarkson, "when you go on a picnic, you want the Italians to make the food, but the Germans to make the picnic basket so the handles dont fall off."

Except he was refering to the Murci -- he was hating on the G and said it was "as if ze germans made ze food".

I've had my car a year and a half, 8200 miles, and no issues to report.
