Seller states 27k miles, but I think it is close to 40k miles as the last carfax stated 34k miles when this owner bought it in 2004.

 

That is high miles for an exotic. I would stay away from any car that the owner puts up false information about. It's not worth the risk of something seriously being wrong with the car, especially when you're paying that much money for the car.

Miles schmiles, they're gonna rack up eventually and why not drive/enjoy what you're spending a good chunk of change on?

ok, seller has stated miles are in Kilometers, so it is roughly 27k miles. (still too high?). I recently bought my 1999 Ferrari 360 with 26k miles with a fresh 30k service and saved $20-$40k because of the miles. My logic is why buy a garage queen with low miles, when you can save some $$ and buy a higher mileage exotic that has its bugs worked out. low miles = not driven = potential problems

Am I reading this wrong or does he mean 27,000 kilomiters? That's ~16,7K miles!

Ohhh... That's a totally different story. There's a big difference between 27,000 miles and 40k+ miles, especially when it comes to exotic cars. Now that you have that info, you know he was lying or contradicting the carfax report, because it was most likely in kilometers.

That miles aren't that high... Go for it!

02 murci's are in km. all 03 M.Y and forward are in miles. my diablo 6.0 is in miles. all my 97.5 roadsters and coupes were in km.

 

It doesn't neccessary indicate seller meant to deceive. Most DMVs are incapable of recognizing the difference b/w kilo vs. miles during registration process; therein lies the discrepancy. It is incumbent upon the owners to bring this to their attention. Otherwise, inspectors will write down what they read on the Odometer and it will show up as shown. I've BEEN there....

 

i have 11,500 on a 03 and its running better than ever, but 4 times as many miles wow, I would get a PPI from 2 places and then pray.

 

Assuming all checks out, I would price this car around $160k.
