Apparently the deal (acceptance period) has already come and gone as of the end of May. So no new shares have actually changed hands and both companies hold the same stakes as they did prior to any offer.
This is granted my interpretation of this press release to shareholders is acurate. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong in any respect.

According to this, the deal died when Porsche offered .6% for each VW share. The deal died but apparently Porsche is not letting up according to my other source posted. If you missed it, click here.

toyota will figure it out sooner or later. with the amount of resources at their disposal, its only a matter of time. lets just hope they stick with it.
