05 Gallardo

05 Gallardo
I am pulling the trigger tomorrow on one of two G's. I am curious what you guys would pay for an 05 w/ 10k miles Yellow, Egear, no clear bonnett and 5 months remaining warranty? Is mid 150's too much?
I was also offered from somewhere else last minute an 04 black, w/ 22k miles Egear, no bonnett for wholesale numbers. It's tempting, but makes me nervous although the car seems perfect in everyway. I have less than 24 hours to make a decision???
Any help would be great.

I'm leaning towards the car with warranty. It's my first exotic and I want to enjoy it without worries. I assuming the 04 will need a clutch and some other small items. I want to get in it and have fun. So, off to pick up the yellow 05 tomorrow afternoon if everything goes well.

i can not stress enough how awful egear is, its very jerky.
as for 04 with high miles, i have heard from friends that its in the 110+ for a hook up price
05 high miles (10k) 150k is too high especially if shanks car is at 165 for an 06 more power, better gearing and warrantee in tact and clear bonnet.
high mile cars are perfect for a Heffner twinturbo.

Don Relentless- I hear ya and your 100% correct. There are some great deals like Shanks 06, but I have to trade in my C55 to make it work So, I am stuck dealing with dealer's. I am 100% torn on a decision. I keep waiting for the answer to come to me, while my C55 plumets in value

I believe you have more options then you realize.... someone like Parin @ ChicagoMotors could probably take your C55 in on trade and finance a Lambo for you from a third party... If not Parin, there are certainly companies that will handle a transaction like that, making money off the financing and the trade-in.

i can tell you this. if your trading it for a c55, hell yeah. the way i look at cars is if it makes you happy then who cares what you paid for it, at least you have a Gallardo. that is a sweet car.

Yes, it is a done deal as of now. All parties have agreed on the terms and I drop off the C55 tomorrow morning. There are a few items I am having taken care of so it may delay delivery a few days, but Prestige Imports has been more than generous and helpful. I will write a small experience summary when everything is finalized. I am looking forward to the swap.

Because I am tired of trying to sell my C55 privately and want to move on. One of the cars was also going to be wholesaled and I had limited time to make a decision. All is well now. I bought a yellow 05 from Prestige Imports. Best of all there is warranty until the end of the year which gives me piece of mind. I am going to be driving the car alot and want to know I'm covered When the car is in my possession and finished I will take some pics.

I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE C55 ON TRADE AND COMPLETED THE TRANSACTION. BUT REST ASSURE I HAVE HAD 4 DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES WITH PRESTIGE LAMBORGHINI AND IT WAS FLAWLESS.

ENJOY THE CAR.
I AGREE THAT THE E-GEAR IS JERKY, BUT THE E-GEARS ARE WHAT EVERYBODY WANTS AND THEY BRING A PREMIUM.
