Lamborghini Reventon

Fugly, but to each his own I guess.
IMHO I would rather take that 1.4 mil (or whatever it works out to be) and get a LP640, CGT, F430 and still have a boatload left over for a nice garage.

the 1.4 mil is clearly about exclusivity.

I really love the Reventon, everything about it. I especially love the wheels, as it continues Lamborghini's tradition of having some of the best looking factory wheels.

the "real" Speedplay should consider buying this!

I think it speaks volumes that they are only attempting to sell 20. Like Ferrari, Lamborghini are producing one less than the market will demand. Do the math - 20 cars at $1,400,000, the revenue produced is only $28,000,000.
Audi can't redesign a tail light for that price. It's a Murci with a $1,000,000 surcharge for a car with a carbon fiber body on the original aluminium frame. At least with the McLaren F1 (greatest car ever produced), Pagani Zonda, Ferrari Enzo, Koenigsegg CCX, Porsche Carrera GT and Bugatti Veyron you get a bespoke carbon fiber tub. Even the incredibly lame MercLamern gets one.....
If I had to chose, I would buy the other $1,000,000 VW that's for sale right now. Its got a 1,000 HP, 7 spd DSG gearbox and will do 253mph.
The Zonda and Koenigsegg are bargains in comparison.

it's always good to see more of the craziness coming back to Lambo. Although I don't thin it's a 'pretty' car, I do love the idea and "what the hell"-ness of it, and would definitely love to have one.
