well ..were doing both ...hes building a bolt on kit which is done for customers who dont want to build the motor @5-6psi this is done .... which is the kit i posted pics off ..now he is building me a motor to run stupid boost ...but 1st were runing the bolt on kit with ecu and bigger injectors he has a spare motors being built for me but so i can have fun now im taking car like this not to have crazy down time ..thats all included in my price..

Is there a warranty?
I'm sorry I'm a big Heffner fan/customer and for the quality and reliability
of his finished product I can see NO WAY it could be done for 1/2
the price! I've put 16,000 TROUBLE-Free miles on my Heffner TT Gallardo
it produces 679 rwhp. I haven't done the upgrade to 750 rwhp as sale is
pending.
Good luck with your car and again congrats on having the ***** to mod it.

hey guy please dont take this as thread against heff or anyone noone by any means has said anything wrong about there product ..yes there is a warranty ..1year i got, i dont know what hell be selling..but yes it was done for 1/2 the price that is not a question at all ..

Not taking thread the wrong way BUT
I personally see NOTHING but problems.
You have an air/air intercooler that is just going to soak up
engine heat. Correct iof I'm wrong but right now there is a green SE
that your guy tuned the ECU etc and it BLEW up the engine!
If it's not too late to change your mind PLEASE DO SO!

More heat = more velocity. If the gases cool down then you USUALLY, not always, make the motor more susceptible to lag. Newer ball-bearing turbocharger technology has curbed this problem, but it still exists. Like I said, it looks like a nice kit and I can't wait to see the final product, but judging from that pic of the motor alone, the turbine is located somewhat downstream in the exhaust path.
I don't feel like cluttering WheelB's thread up any further so I won't reply anymore, feel free to PM me when you figure out your answer.

actually heff does reprogram the ecu on an AEM unit, which we know can be mapped for race gas and as much or little boost as you want. and no he doesnt add extra injectors just larger ones. i too am a huge Heffner fan as the thought and work is amazing to say the least. but i love what your doing adding forced induction in anyway is a plus. i have to agree 100% with Zamirz that the turbos are to far from the exhaust ports. it makes no sense. i would also suggest a charge cooler rather than air to air intercoolers. for sure, that engine bay creates so much heat and insufficient cooling amplified by the turbos, you will need better cooling. or remove the glass bonnet and replace it with mesh. good luck and looking forward to the results.

Guess no one is listening..... your tuners previous effort resulted in a BLOWN motor doesn't that bother you? That owner had to pay over 20,000 to
replace block etc guess he didn't get the warranty you claim to be getting?

easy now. i appreciate the fact that he's going for it, regardless to tuner. some people like HRE's and some like BBS. i say for half the price what a great deal. i feel like i robbed Heff, paying him 50k for his kit. so 25k for a tt kit is a smokin deal, even if it doesnt bare the results Heffs kit does. i dont think 5-6 lbs of boost will have any detrimental effects on the motor. i believe he'll gain only 100 or so horses but thats great. i think alot of people will jump on this kit if it does become a bolt on kit and reliability holds up. but there are different types of tuners some that add alot of boost and some that appreciate power under the curve. as heff said it is less than than half the kit he builds and will probably result in less than half in its gains and performance, but a great concept and price none the less. gallardos have so much potential for tuners, i guarnatee there wil be a few more different kits poping out in the next year for this car. as for Heff, if one of the worlds largiest car manufacturers comes to him for R&D and to build them the worlds fastiest super car, that says alot.

1 year parts & labor all components and ENGINE
.At the end of my trip from Fla to Ca my car was running hot.
It went to LOC they determined water in 7&8 cyls.
Heffner paid them to pull motor ship it to him he corrected steel sleeves that slipped the thickness
of a piece of paper. Shipped it back to them they re-installed but didn't want to take responsibilty to
even start engine. Jason said "no problem" gets on a plane examines install said it looks fine
he turned the key started the motor and no issues now 12,000 miles later. He paid for it all
didn't ***** or try to lay the blame anywhere. He is just a standup guy IMHO.
Now this tuner we are talking about when the motor went south after his ECU tune and valve work
said basically not my fault or problem. Not the kind of guy I want to spend my money with or TRUST my car to.
