The 07 you saw was a very early shell/concept design...mechanicals and interior were not yet created...
It does take a few years to bring 200k supercar to market, you know...especially if your production line consists of entry level and entry-lux cars...

The production version will have a very different front. I believe I read that Lexus was not happy with the 199mph top speed so they went back to the drawing board and tweaked it aerodynamically, hence the change in the fronts appearance, so now its top speed is said to be 220mph

I believe the final product will be very much like the prototype. It has been around too long to do much changing.
Us Lexus owners will just be happy to get a supercar out to the market. It brings a little more cred to the brand. I can't buy one yet but I can still live off it laurels.
