I saw this car at the Detroit Auto show in Jan. '07. It still hasn't made it to production?

They killed the project for a little while, then started it back up again later.
The 07 you saw was a very early shell/concept design...mechanicals and interior were not yet created...

It does take a few years to bring 200k supercar to market, you know...especially if your production line consists of entry level and entry-lux cars...

They need to price this under an R8 and 997turbo; at $200 K + it will have a hard time going up against established exotics .... IMO

I believe the final product will be very much like the prototype. It has been around too long to do much changing.
Us Lexus owners will just be happy to get a supercar out to the market. It brings a little more cred to the brand. I can't buy one yet but I can still live off it laurels.

Money talks. I think if they price this around the lower end of the R8 range, they should have some success.

I like that metallic silver. A little darker and it would be perfect!
