The 8 speed gives the car a mechanical advantage. It doesn't feel like a 3800 lb car with 420 hp at all. It's comfortable, but still a blast to throw around. It's not as fun as the Cayman was in the twisties, but it has tons of power and it's more comfortable. It makes my first gen CTS-V feel like a turd. Not to mention the fit and finish on the Lexus is leagues above the CTS-V. The new V is a different story, however, but I think they have already had their share of problems.

 

I wish lexus made a fixed roof coupe for the isf. I would be all over it like white on rice.

One of the best IS-F ever IMO. If only they made it with a manual tranny

 

Love the setup. And I see quite a few IS-F's come thru the Lexus I work at.
