Looks fantastic - which M3 did you come from? I just went from the E46 to an Elise as well and it's been a huge change...losing 1500 lbs does that to you I suppose. Now you're making me second-guess the Chrome Orange...

Pfft it's a dd during the summer!
Honestly wanted the looks of the Elise and a technical true convertible I suppose. Also it fit perfectly within my budget as I got a great price on the car with only 5k on the clock. Couple those together with it being the color combo I wanted, mods I wanted and a local buy it just fit the bill.
Ironically after driving a newer Exige S, I actually liked my Elise a little better despite being down in the power game. It's a little bit raw-er and more rev happy. I had considered upgrading this year, but after the back to back decided to stay put.
