Lotus Exige s260 final edition, Porsche Boxster Spyder, or Audi TTRS

Any thoughts as to which would be a better buy? The goal is to have a fun semi daily driver with track potential. Drive comfort is not really a concern nor is a fully functioning roof. The goal here is to find out which would be best to cruise around in locally and take to the track. I know the pros and cons for the most part of owning any of them, I just need some outside opinions.

Obviously bias on my part but The Final Edition Lotus Exige S260 particularly this one (#7 of 25). More fun to drive on the roads and definitely better on the track. Also, if you're not tracking it, take off the top and drive it open on the twisties.

Exige is by far the least practical car of the bunch. Almost no one daily drives one. You can't even put a briefcase in the trunk without using two hands to pivot it in. Forget about taking anyone else to the track in it because a helmet doesn't even fit in the trunk and has to sit in the passenger seat. Purest track car of the three, but least livable.

Think the spyder is the best choice.. Car and drivers lightning lap had the spyder as faster than the exiges.. But the exige probably is the most lively and fun...The TTRS is the most livable but probably not too much fun.. Awd, heaviest, clunky shifter, understeer.... Spyder is the in between... I want one

If comfort and practical are not at the top of your list than I would say Lotus. All are great cars in there own way but Pcars & Audi's are dime a dozen. My .02

Post pics on what you decide on!

my dad has had a Lotus Exige S240 and a Porsche Boxster Spyder and they are two totally different cars. both cars are great for the track but if you plan on doing some DD with it I would stick with the Porsche or the Audi. The Lotus was an awesome car but after a while the seats would get to you.

To me it's not the seats. It's getting in and out, the fact that the front scrapes on anything but the lowest speed bumps, and the fact that you can't carry jack in the car. If you don't know exactly where you are going and know all the bumps and angles of every driveway and entry/exit point, you should either take another car or plan on sacrificing the front spoiler. I can't even take it to the airport for a short business trip because a rollaway won't fit anywhere but the passenger seat, and even in the passenger seat it interferes with shifting. I still love it.

tough choice but if its a daily you have to go Spyder IMO. If it was me and I could only have one I would go Exige.

I am biased. Boxster Spyder!!!

Practical when you need it (2 trunks, good gas mileage) and fast when you need it (don't need to say much about its track worthiness).
