wash problem

when I wash the wife's macan, the mirrors fold in and the alarm chirps whenever I touch or spray any of the door handles. has anyone seen this?not a big problem. just a curiosity.

This happens on every car that has keyless entry. Yes, leave the key inside the garage or house.

That worked. appreciate the info. BTW, I thought I liked the rubberized strips at the bottom of the doors until I got caliche in them. It was a nightmare to get out. Had to use dawn and a stiff bristle brush.
