2012 Maserati MC With Mods
Here's an update on my new Maserati MC and ongoing mods. This car is fantastic and the mods have further enhanced the ride. Thanks to Kartoyz for architecting most of this.
1. Formula Dynamics lowering springs (approx. .8-1 inch drop) improves
looks and handling
2. Smoke cleared the rear tail lights, the side markers.
3. Had the amber headlite side markers smoked with custom window tint
4. all windows tinted
5. Clear armor everything except the doors
6. Front trident emblem painted black, with custom red pin strip reapplied.
7. front grill surround painted black
8. EVOsit ECU modification by Alex from Sharkwerks (adds about 20hp)
9. remove rear Maserati emblem
10. Formula Dynamics DBW (drive by wire) upgrade for improved shifting response. fantastic improvement!
11. Larger 4.5 inch oval exhaust tips, powder coated gloss black
12. Wheels: CEC C884 forged. 21 X 9 front, 22 X 12 rear with 20 mil spacers
13. Had the lower front spoiler painted to match the bumper. Gets rid of the
"smile", and makes the car look lower in the front
Phase II, which I hope to post next week:
14. Novitec Trofeo hood
15. Novitec front grill with carbon fiber surround

You've done a fantastic job of tastefully modding your MC. I'm a huge fan of the stock look - and appreciate their rarity - but if I were to make some adjustments they'd look like yours.
How is the performance of this car, what can you compare it to? I'm intrigued by its sticker price, looks, and sound, but the stats make it a tough sell for me. I don't want m3's and IS-F's showing me up.

Jeff RB, that is one of the nicest MC's I have seen. I think the front air dam painted body color and wheels have made the most dramatic effect.
Question: What did you do with the oe wheels?

I have the OE wheels, and I'm thinking of selling them
They are 20's and have 100 miles on them?
They are the split 5 spoke
