I'm curious to know the warranty and maintenance for the car. How has ownership experience been, and how does the gearbox work for every day commute? Thanks for any input.

 

Couldn't really tell you as I have not driven it enough to know, I like the trans although I can see how it is considered a little too sporting for the car. Power is excellent, as is comfort. I have had the car in traffic a couple times and the tranny is perfectly reasonable and the car is otherwise tame. The car is definitely beautiful but I have no desire to test the limits of its' daily drivability (is that a word ?)Try reading some of the owner reviews on Edmunds or do a google for reviews.

I have a friend up north who has one and his wife uses it for daily but she doesn drive it too hard or too often and it's held up fine for like 7500 miles so far. The only prob was rats got into the wiring once and it had to go to the dealer, they were great- got out of there for only a couple hundred bucks.
