? AMG CLK 63 Black Series ?
Steve/digitalho (or anyone who who can help with their experience),
I am thanking you in advance for your feedback.
As you, I have had numerous 911's, mostly turbos, a GT2, etc. I love the handling and thrust.
I am interested in this special AMG. I have not driven one. I hope to speak with my MB dealer this week.
Of the awsome 911's you have or had, you say the AMG is the most fun on the street. Can you please explain?
Weight, nimbleness, handling, the loss of push of the turbos, etc. are some of my concerns.
Thanks again,
David
p.s. Would you know world wide production and will they be made in 2009?

David, I have had all the cars you mention and many more over the years. The Black is a blast to drive because it's so quick in acclelration and so agile. With the big motor and the gearing, matched up to a awesome 7 speed trans, really moves the car like it weighs 3,000 lbs. It's a finely tuned machine very simillar to the DTM. Stiff chassis solid as a rock and very presise. All 4 corners give = grip so it's very neutral. The only thing that limits the car or any car for that matter is power and grip. Both of those can easily be improved. It's just a slot car and many will never experience how great it really is. They only made 350 for 2008 and that's it. it was the first car designed and built in AMG's new custom shop. You just have to experience it for yourself. It's worth every bit of the 138 k The car is fast and a refreshing alternative to Porsche and Ferrari. My car is faster than a GT-3, Turbo, 360, 430, and my RS. I pulled away from a SL-55 and a GT-40 so far. Cubes are King, the car fly's !
