Mercedes For a 18 Year Old?
#18
It is a great car for an 18 year old. I had an E46 M6 at 16 and everone said that was a bad idea. It was a GREAT idea. I respected the power the car had. Also it was a very safe car for the following reasons:
it had to ability to swerve to miss crazy Memphis drivers who pull in front of you
it had the brakes to stop before hitting some one who pulls out in front of you
These two things are great for a young driver who is starting to learn what to expect from other drivers.
Now here I am almost 21 with my modded S4, it is great. Still no wrecks (many avoided due to handling and brakes of both cars I HATE MEMPHIS DRIVERS) and not a single speeding ticket or any ticket for that matter (knock on wood).
Go for it man and enjoy in good health.

If you're like me, you won't give a **** about your car at college. You'll be too busy chasing tail and going to frat parties. Get a used tacoma or frontier and wait till you graduate for something nice.
I bought a nice car thinking I would take care of it, but my Acura looked like crap before my first year was up.

The only question I have is why the new C350? For the same money, you can buy a much faster and nicer car. For example: M3, 335i, or C55 AMG, Audi S4, etc.

C350 is a bit more suitable for 27-32 yo working professional IMO. If I were you, look into a SLK or 335i or CLK. Younger and more stylish. Whatever you do though, look into something safe as I have done many stupid things when young myself....

I agree, buy whatever you want. other kids are funny though, we gave our son a BMW 330ci Convertible to drive and his tires were slashed the first day he drove it to school.
